Hebrew Union College Annual is embarking on a new translation program. It has always been the goal of our editorial board to give Israeli scholars a platform for introducing their scholarship to audiences outside of Israel. This goal has previously been achieved by publishing articles in Hebrew as well as English. A generous donor has made it possible for us to take the next step. Articles submitted in Hebrew will now be considered for this competitive translation program. Selected Hebrew submissions will be translated and published in English in the pages of the Hebrew Union College Annual. Our goal is to make scholarship accessible in English that would appeal to a broader audience than might have access to Hebrew.
The editorial directors will consider for this translation program only new scholarship, i.e., articles which have not heretofore appeared in print in any language.
Interested parties can find submission instructions here.
